Javier Hernandez .... In Advanced Talks
Sorry for not keeping it in the rumour thread , but looks like this well could be happening , and im anxious to get opinion.

We are looking to pay big wages 120k per week , he is in his prime one would imagine , but he has not had a sniff at united for quite a while now , and this worries me a little.

He was absolutely shit hot for a season , stated the CL final, but why the dip in form , was it on the back on injury , or did he just fall out of favour.

if we can get him firing , he would surley be a great signing , and i would take him above all other forward we have been lnked with , Austin , Jiminez et al.

So what are your thought on little pea coming over ...

Sounds like classic agents spotting a club desperate for signings and trying his luck.
TBH he never seemed to really want to come here and he's never settled and had a big impact at a big club so whilst he is a decent looking player I won't lose any sleep over it.

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has joined Bayer Leverkusen for £7.3m.

£7.3m? i thought we bid that.

must have been his ridiculous wage demands that scuppered it?

It Sounds like he's just trying to cash in with the highest bidder and the club are right not to be held to ransom for one player, no matter how good.

Read the Alan's newspapers thread, if what it says is true about Hernandez then who can blame the board. Ludicrous money.

Not happy about the Adebayor rumours and if Hernandez is asking stupid money then he can go whistle.

I wouldn't mind Victor Moses and I think Bilic and the coaching staff might get the best out of their fellow countryman Jelavic from Hull. He's only 30.

Carroll, Jelavic, Sakho, Valencia isn't a bad set of options for the forward line, if Moses can help out wide with Payet and Lanzini.

Re: Javier Hernandez .... In Advanced Talks
Hopes that Javier Hernandez will arrive as West Ham’s latest signing have been savaged by the Mexican’s extraordinary wage demands.

With various media outlets currently claiming his next destination is either the Boleyn or Bayer Leverkusen, Hernandez looks to have priced himself out of a move to the east end.

The Manchester United player – having finally been made available by Reds boss Louis Van Gaal – has doubled his wage demands since the Hammers first showed their hand a few weeks ago.

ClaretandHugh has learned exclusively that figures of around £65k a week were on the table and looking agreeable but that in the latest round of talks “the numbers have gone crazy” to quote a highly placed source.

We have been reliably informed that the player now wants a £130k a week plus goal bonuses of between £50k to £80k.

And unless Hernandez and his agents take a massive reality check before the transfer window closes the club’s No 1 target will not be arriving at the Boleyn.

Meanwhile, we were told the Irons are holding what was described as “a partial interest” in Hull City’s Nikica Jelavić.
